harnesses.sh is researched, curated and maintained by Anders Jensen-Waud.
16 years in strategy, tech, and transformation. MBB background (Bain), I architect and ship agentic AI systems for tier-1 financial services, telco, and PE — from boardroom strategy to agents in production. Developed Maturana, the secure agent harness built for Codex.
Why this site exists
The harness — the runtime scaffolding of control loop, tools, permissions, sandboxing and context management that turns a model into an agent — is the layer where agent capability is actually decided. Yet there was no cross-vendor, filterable, verified directory of them: only stale awesome-lists, OSS-biased catalogs and benchmark leaderboards. harnesses.sh normalizes every harness against a nine-axis capability schema, cites primary sources per entry, rates its own confidence in each profile, and records when each fact was last verified.
